MG Will Sign Two New Car Models At The IIMS 2024 Event, MG Cyberster?

JAKARTA - MG Motor Indonesia has prepared two new car models that will launch at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS 2024) at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, 15-25 February 2024.

This was expressed directly by Arief Syarifudin as Marketing & PR Director of MG Motor Indonesia at the launch of two local MG electric cars, namely MG ZS EV and MG4 EV.

"We will release the product (on IIMS), we can see two. Whether it is based on engine or electricity, just wait," he said when met on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

However, when asked in more detail what products will be below IIMS, the man who is familiarly called Arief said all would witness that MG provided another electric-based vehicle.

"We could have brought in an extraordinary hybrid or ICE-based, but it all came back to the consumer's taste," he said.

Previously, Arief said he would bring the Cyberster model to the Indonesian market, which as is known the car has also launched in Thailand.

"It is certain that MG Cyberster will attend this year, (launching on IIMS) just waiting for the game date," he explained.

In addition, there are several car lines that have a great opportunity to launch at IIMS 2024, including Maxus 9, MG HS PHEV which has also been present in Thailand.
