JAKARTA - After his debut on December 28, 2023, the first electric vehicle model from the Xiaomi giant, SU7, received the attention of many people. In fact, rumors of the price has been widely circulated.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Sunday, January 7, 2024, although the manufacturer has not announced an official price and only describes some specification details, rumors of the price circulating widely on social media.

Over the past two days, several fake posters about the pre-sale price of SU7 reached 599,000 yuan or around Rp1.3 billion. In fact, not a few claim the price is only 369,000 yuan, aka Rp805 million.

Responding to this, General Manager of Public Relations Department, Wang Hua, spoke. He said that everything circulating was fake.

"Until the official launch of the Xiaomi EV product ends, all information and posters containing variants and the price of Xiaomi cars are fake," he said.

Furthermore, he said that until now, no one knows the price of the electric sedan because it is not final.

"How do you judge the price poster that you see as genuine or not? It's simple, see if the official Xiaomi EV account has installed it (price)," he added.

As additional information, Xiaomi's debut had a big goal of becoming one of the main players in the electric vehicle segment.

This means that the price of Xiaomi SU7 will be carefully considered because it is the key to determining the success of the model so that it is accepted by the market.
