JAKARTA - Reportedly, the Suzuki Jimny 5 door will soon launch in Indonesia this year, with an estimated launch in February, especially in the IIMS 2024 event.

Based on VOI's monitoring, initially the Instagram account @indra_fathan regarding the presence of this Legendary SUV, which was previously caught on camera several times, was already in Indonesia, but was presented by general importers.

"Prospective owners of Suzuki Jimny 5 doors can get ready, because it is reported that this car will officially launch at IIMS 2024," the tweet read.

The VOI team conducted further searches regarding the presence of the car. One of the stewards, whose name was not mentioned, confirmed the information and even stated that this car could already be ordered.

"It can be ordered, and the unit will be ready in February 2024," he said when contacted on Friday, January 5.

For information, the Suzuki Jimny 5 door was launched in India in January 2023 and produced in the same facility. In fact, this model is fully exported from India to several countries, including Indonesia.

In specifications, this car features a dashing and formidable design, which is its trademark. Modern features have also been embedded, including a 9-inch unit head integrated with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

For engine purposes, Suzuki Jimny uses a 1.5 liter K-series engine with the Idle Start Stop feature. The engine with a capacity of 1,462 cc is capable of generating a power of 104.8 ps at 6,000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 134.2 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This car is equipped with a manual transmission of five accelerations or an automatic four acceleration.
