DAMD Sublap Toyota Hiace And Daihatsu Hijet Concept Retro, Will Be Mejeng At Tokyo Auto Salon

JAKARTA - The tuning company, which is famous for its Suzuki Jimny modification, DAMD, took part in the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 event, which is planned to take place from January 12 to 14, at Makuhari Messe.

Tak hanya membawa Suzuki Jimny dengan gaya rally yang terinspirasi dari Lancia Delta, pada ajang tersebut DAMD juga akan membawa berbagai kombinasi van yang tentunya menarik.

Quoting from the Top Gear page, Wednesday, December 3, DAMD will bring a Toyota Hiace called the DAMD Deface Concept. Interestingly, the concept that was carried was inspired by the Land Rover Defender.

From the observations on the Instagram page @damd_inci, it seems that the modifications presented are only cosmetics, where it can be seen that some of the embedded changes make him look very dashing, even though they are still equipped with round-shaped headlights like the old Hiace model.

DAMD did not elaborate on the modification specifications of Toyota Hiace, it is estimated that everything will be announced at the prestigious event. This is the same as the modified Suzuki Jimny like a rally car.

Not only that, DAMD will also bring another van concept based on Daihatsu Atrai, also known as Hijet. DAMD Atrai Fuzz Wagon brings a retro look one step ahead by displaying a weather-resistant exterior equipped with a wood-inspired sticker.

Meanwhile, DAMD Atrai Fuzz Deckvan has a cleaner finishing, but the back bodywork has been trimmed to turn the van into a pickup.
