Xiaomi Officially Enters The Automotive World With The Release Of The SU7 Competitors' Electric Sedan Porsche Taycan And Tesla Model S

JAKARTA - Equipped with advanced technology, advanced performance, and leading range: those are the right words to describe Xiaomi SU7, the first electric sedan of Chinese technology giant Xiaomi, which was officially launched today.

SU7 is ready to hit the world's automotive market with various innovative features and dare to challenge the dominance of well-known manufacturers such as Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model S.

The SU7 RWD is equipped with a Qilin CATL battery with a capacity of 73.6 kWh, giving a range of 668 km below the CLTC standard (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle).

Meanwhile, the performance version of SU7 Max will be AWD equipped with a dual motorbike with a maximum output of 425 kW and a torque of 838 Nm. Acceleration of 0-100km / h in 2.78 seconds, and the highest speed of 265 km / h. The EV is also capable of traveling 0-200 km / h in 10.67 seconds. The Max variant has a Qilin NMC CATL battery with a capacity of 101 kWh and provides a CLTC reach of 800 km.

For the cutting-edge technology in these two variants, there is a 16.1-inch 3K central control screen and two 7.1-inch LCD screens for rear passengers, 56-inch Head-up display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 Qualcomm-powered HyperOS cockpit operating system, then the Xiaomi Pilot autopilot system is powered by the Nvidia Orin-X 508 TOPs chip with an integrated lidar with an aerodynamic design.

Xiaomi has not announced the prices of these two variants but in its launch Xiaomi has confirmed its ambition to become the top 5 global automakers in the next 15-20 years.
