Porsche Will Launch Five Latest Models In India In 2024, Anything?

JAKARTA - The year 2023 will end in a matter of days, but several automotive manufacturers are preparing to present a number of models for 2024. Porsche is one of the manufacturers in this position.

The German manufacturer is preparing to add its portfolio by presenting several new models for the Indian market for next year.

According to an Autocar India report, Wednesday, December 27, the Porsche Macan EV is one of the models currently being prepared to compete in the environmentally friendly vehicle industry next year. This car is said to be debuting in India after its global launch.

The SUV-shaped car is expected to get a 100 kWh battery with a double electric motor that produces 612 dk of power and 1,000 Nm of torque. Thus, the EV Tigers are expected to compete with Jaguar I-Pace or Mercedes-Benz EQC.

Then, the latest Panamera GTS will also arrive at the Indian market and is expected to carry an impressive V8 4.0 liter twin-turbo engine. This car will receive aero and interior updates and will be set for 20 million rupees or equivalent to IDR 3.7 billion.

The latest Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe models will also arrive in the country with the GTS variant that prioritizes the performance side. It is hoped that this car will carry a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces up to 500 dk of power.

Meanwhile, the latest Porsche Taycan is expected to pave the way in India with a more sporting look and will provide 79.2 kWh, 83.7 kWh, and 93.4 kWh battery options. It is hoped that the model will get an increase in terms of energy output or range.

The last one is a model that automotive lovers have been waiting for, namely the Porsche 911 facelift. The model will get a change in style in the form of a bumper that is refreshed by a larger stake.

It is estimated that the 911 will get a hybrid powertrain option that will be side by side with the choice of a pure combustion engine (ICE). Unfortunately, the company has not yet explained the launch date of this model.
