JAKARTA - Cinema lovers must be familiar with the figure of Ewan McGregor. The Scottish actor is known for starring in several well-known films, one of which is Star Wars, where he plays the protagonist, Obi-Wanest.

Now behind his acting abilities, he is also known to have an interest and love for the automotive world. This is evidenced by several cars he once owned in his garage, one of which was the classic Porsche 911T fire. What's more, the sport-style car has now been sold at the auction market in California, USA.

Reporting from Carscoops, Monday, December 18, the Porsche 911Tama is covered in a beautiful black color with a design that looks like a new one, proving that this model is well maintained.

The car belongs to McGregor in 2019. It is known that this model has been stored by previous owners since the 1970s, so it needs to be restored.

Then, this car got mechanical refinement by giving it the latest transaxle, coupling, and flywheel. The vehicle launched in 1972 also received component updates by replacing several bushings and adding head to the Porsche Classic unit accompanied by Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and satellite radio.

On the inside, the interior is decorated with black coatings on carpets, trims, and seats covered with imitation skin with cloth insertions that display black and white pepita weaving.

The Porsche 911T fire has an original engine, which is 2.4 liters flat-6 with a fuel injection system from Bosch. The power from the kitchen is channeled to the rear wheels through a transmission of five accelerations.

It is known that McGregor has used the vehicle as far as 61,155 km plus 3,218 km from its current owner. However, the figure shown by the odometer is not the actual number considering this car got improvements in the speedometer in 2020.

Having high historical value and being once the ownership of a well-known Hollywood actor, makes this car priced very expensive. Auctioned on the Bring A Trailer page, the Porsche 911T jurisprudence has sold for US $ 166,000 or the equivalent of Rp. 2.5 billion.
