Production Of Honda E: N1 EV Starting In Thailand, Sold Starting In 2024

JAKARTA - Honda announced the start of production of the Honda e:N1 EV. The 'HR-V electricity' in Thailand, more precisely at a special factory at Rojana Industrial Park, Prachinburi province, and using local spare parts.

Quoted from the Paultan page, Friday, December 15, with this, Honda can claim to be the first Japanese car manufacturer to produce full electricity in Thailand. However, details of the launch will be announced in the first quarter of next year.

"Thailand is an important step for Honda. This shows confidence that Honda is still concerned with running a business in Thailand. It also creates added value for the automotive industry in Thailand, both from the production and use of domestic spare parts," wrote a statement from Honda's official website.

As is known, e:N1 is basically e:Ny1 with slightly different names starting its European debut earlier this year, and of course it could be one of the things to take into account.

Looking at the details for the European market, it is at first glance similar to HR-V, but Honda says that e:Ny1 uses a new architecture called e:N Architecture F that has just been developed, and has various advantages. For example, a special body structure with a high degree of will, to good managed aerodynamics, and can ensure comfort.

Meanwhile, this car is equipped with a battery measuring 68.8 kWh. The battery can produce a maximum power of 201 hp and a torque of 310 Nm, while the range reaches 412 kilometers. Questioning the charging is claimed to come with the DC model being able to fill in from 10-80 percent in just 45 minutes.

Not much can be seen from the photos shared for production versions in Thailand, it's just that the 'H' white badge on the outside and on the steering wheel is a new electric identity for Honda, just like red for Type R and blue for hybrids. In addition, there's a new 'Honda' type logo on the back.
