JAKARTA - Porsche, a sports car manufacturer from Germany, made a surprise by introducing a powered SUV, the Cayenne e-Hybrid, in the Philippine market. The model comes with a variety of improvements that include a more expressive exterior display and modern features.

The Cayenne e-Hybrid carries a hybrid system, being part of Porsche's efforts to provide low-emission environmentally friendly vehicles and optimal fuel efficiency.

Based on a report from Top Gear Philippines on Sunday, December 10, several significant improvements have been applied to Cayenne's outer design. Changes can be seen in the addition of the latest engine hood and HD Matrix front light, creating a wider car impression. neon green Kaliper brakes are also paired to highlight the sporty impression on this model.

Turning to the inside, the Cayenne e-Hybrid features a dashboard with multi-layer, smooth skin, and aluminum trims. The update also occurs in the transmission selector, which is now moved to the dashboard to provide more storage space on the center console and facilitate access to air conditioning settings.

The cabin is enriched with a comfortable seat and can be arranged in 14 directions with a memory package. The head back of the front seat is now equipped with the Porsche logo as standard, and the electric sun curtain can be rolled in the back window.

In terms of performance, the Cayenne e-Hybrid is powered by a 3.0 liter turbocharged V6 engine combined with a single electric motor, resulting in an impressive output of 462 dk and a torque of 700 Nm. The performance of the machine is combined with an automatic transmission of eight accelerations.

This SUV can fly from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 5 seconds and reaches a top speed of up to 253 km/hour.

The Cayenne e-Hybrid adopts plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology with batteries that provide up to 48 km of pure electrical energy. Porsche also claims this car has efficient fuel consumption, reaching up to 40 km/liter.

Although Porsche has not disclosed the official price of the Cayenne e-Hybrid in the Philippine market, it is certain that the manufacturer will offer this model in the body variant of the SUV or Coupe.
