Peugeot E-3008 Mulai Dijual, Jangkauan Batterynya Tembus 700 Km

JAKARTA - Peugeot 3008's third generation, Peugeot e-3008 made its global debut last September. This car with advanced technology and futuristic design is now starting to be sold for the British market.

Reporting from the Autocar page, Thursday, November 23, the EV 3008 model is priced at 45,850 pounds, equivalent to Rp891.7 million in the initial variant, namely Allure.

For the GT variant, customers only need to add a fee of 3,800 pounds, equivalent to Rp73.9 million. This car will be produced in Sochaux, France, and will be sent to the market in February 2024.

Peugeot e-3008 has medium dimensions with a length of 4,540 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, and a height of 1,640 mm. With a fairly compact size, the SUV will represent Peugeot to compete in the C segment 100 percent electric-powered SUV.

Just like the existing Peugeot model, e-3008 is presented with the design of a three-tare light on the front as a feature of the manufacturer. Grills are shown to be more radical than other models.

Moving to the interior, the Panoramic i-Cockpit infotainment system is also applied to the model. The interior also features a 21-inch curved panorama screen that extends from behind the wheel to the center of the dashboard.

This car looks more luxurious with the latest digital cluster instrument, eight different colors of ambient LED lighting, and redesigned steering wheel. There are several cabin interior functions that are more practical in replacing conventional buttons.

The presence of Peugeot e-3008 also marks the return of the touchpad i-Toggle system and dental voters have moved to the dashboard next to the car start button. In e-3008, users can choose various driving modes consisting of Normal, Eco, Sport, and 4WD.

The coup-style SUV is also the first model of the brand to use Stellantis' latest platform, STLA Medium, promising major changes in performance and more functionally compared to the old PSA Group platform.

In addition, there are three powertrain options offered, namely the two-wheel drive variant with a choice of power up to 210 dk and 227 dk and a four-wheel drive double electric motor with up to 321 dk.

Peugeot offers two battery options with different kilometers, namely 73 kWh which can go up to 525 km and 98 kWh with 700 km on a single charge.

Just like other electric cars, Peugeot e-3008 can be compatible with AC and DC charging systems. For air conditioning, this car can be charged with 11 kW of charging and a DC fast charger with up to 160 kW.

Thus, Peugeot will strengthen the ranks of its electrification models after the French manufacturer previously introduced seven ranks of EV models to be launched until 2030 using the concept of Inception.
