There Is A Refreshment For The 2024 Edition PHEV S60 Volvo, Anything?

JAKARTA - First announced last September, Volvo updated several aspects for the S60 PHEV model for the Malaysian market which has indeed been assembled locally.

Quoted from the Paultan page, Tuesday, November 21, Volvo S60 only comes in one variant, namely Recharge T8 Ultimate, which is priced at 315,888 ringgit or more than Rp1 billion.

So what changes are offered? From the data disclosed by Volvo S60, it comes with a six-stop rim design, and there is a black accent that makes it look more dashing.

Meanwhile, for the color, there are several options consisting of a new Vapor Gray that combines Crystal White, Onyx Black, and Platinum Gray.

In addition, AC charging was also increased, previously it only had a capacity of 3.7 kW, now it has reached 6.4 kW. The charger was able to produce an output of 18.8 kWh, which is claimed if it is fully filled it takes 3 hours, and can be used in pure electricity as far as 90 km.

Interestingly, the 2024 S60 will come with free access for five years to digital services, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Play Store, and the Volvo Cars app's remote function.

Google's built-in infotainment system also gets a YouTube app that can be used when the vehicle is immobile, this will be applied to the existing S60 model with the same system through over-the-air (OTA) updates.

However, regarding the runway's heart, the S60 still comes with a standard plug-in hybrid powertrain consisting of a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a set of 2.0 liters of turbocharged. The engine emits 317 PS power and 400 Nm torque, coupled with an electric motor mounted behind with 145 PS power and 309 Nm torque. The total output system is 462 PS and 709 Nm.

Along with an automatic transmission of eight speeds, this setup allows acceleration time of 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, the highest speed is limited to 180 km/hour and the combined fuel consumption is only 1.4 liters/100 km.
