Citroen, French Car Will Launch All New E-C3

JAKARTA - The French manufacturer's car, Citroen, has confirmed that it will officially launch e-C3 on an international scale on October 17, 2023.

This notification is clearly displayed on the official Citroen Instagram page. From VOI.ID's monitoring on its official website, there is a short video depicting Citroen e-C3.

"Give me everything you know about electric cars. New Citroen e-C3 is preparing on October 17th," wrote a tweet on Citroen's official website, quoted on Sunday, October 15.

In January, Citroen introduced e-C3 only to the Indian market, and not a few were waiting for a global launch for various countries including Indonesia.

This news is certainly a breath of fresh air for Citroen because it will become an additional portfolio, after e-C4 and Ami as electric cars that have arrived first.

Talking about the opportunity to enter the Indonesian market is not impossible, because this one electric car was introduced at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023 last August.

In the GIIAS 2023 event, Citroen showed two innovative products that will soon complement the line of French brand products in the Indonesian automotive market, namely the All-New C3 Aircross SUV and the New E-C3 battery-based electric car.

"Today we introduce a glimpse of the All-New C3 Aircross SUV and battery-based electric car, the New E-C3, which will complement our product lineup in the near future. We are sure that our customers will welcome it warmly," said Tan Kim Piauw, Chief Executive Officer of Citroen Indonesia, some time ago.

Regarding the specifications, this car is expected to come in two versions - one with a 60 kW (82 hp) motorbike and a 42 kWh battery, the other version with a 80 kW (109 hp) motorbike and a 50 kWh battery.
