Kia EV3 Debuts At EV Day Event, Offers Environmentally Friendly Crossover Practitious

JAKARTA - Along with the launch of EV5 and EV4 concept, Kia officially introduced the EV3 concept, one of the crossovers that many parties have been waiting for at EV Day events in South Korea.

The South Korean auto brand presents EV3 as an option for customers who want an SUV but don't want it to be as big as EV9 or other and friendly cars to be used for urban daily life, while strengthening Kia's strategic plan to bring in more environmentally friendly vehicles.

Carrying the design philosophy Opposites United, this model provides creative and innovative design solutions and has a design that almost resembles brothers and sisters, namely EV5 and EV9.

Karim Habib, as Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global, said the car was inspired by a philosophical pillar, namely the 'Joy of Reason', which combines the strong body quality with a dynamic silhouette so that a logical but emotional design is created.

The joy can be seen as an antithesis of reason. The first is a positive and emotional response, and the other comes from logic. However, when the two are combined, the quality of the contrast blends into a strong and very impactful design," said Karim on the company's official website, Thursday, October 12.

The concept car has a slightly rigid design with a long tilted roof line creating a unique silhouette. The pattern on the rim has its own uniqueness by having a square arch cut with an asymmetric angle.

Moving to the interior, cabin design prioritizes practicality in line with fun lighting. The shape of the dashboard is also unique based on very fine character lines.

As for the seats, Kia presents an ergonomic chair design made of environmentally friendly materials according to the brand's vision to achieve sustainability on a large scale. Even in the cabin, mini-tables can be found that can be changed with the support of four modes: Focus, Social, Refreshing, and Storage. The back seat can also be folded which adds to the flexibility and practicality of the vehicle.
