Coordinating Minister For Maritime Affairs Asks Wuling To Present EVs Below Rp200 Million, Wuling: We Have Air EV Lite

JAKARTA - The growth of electric vehicles is currently growing rapidly and the Indonesian government is also trying to accelerate the transition of domestic free mobility. One of the businesses is to provide incentives so that the price is affordable.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves), Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, said that his party is trying to talk to vehicle manufacturers to present the cheapest EVs, one of which is Wuling.

Responding to this, Dian Asmahani, as Director of Brand and Marketing of Wuling Motors, said that her party had offered vehicles under Rp. 200 million by launching Air ev Lite worth Rp. 188.9 million, including VAT incentives.

"Currently, we have the most affordable Air ev product variant with many advantages offered, namely Wuling Air ev Lite. The price of Air ev Lite OTR Jakarta is Rp. 206 million and by utilizing VAT incentives to Rp. 188.9 million," said Dian when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, September 19.

Dian also said that his party fully supports the government's efforts to accelerate the transition of electric vehicles and it is hoped that the community can enjoy the lowest variant of Air ev at an affordable price.

"We hope that this variant can reach more consumers to try out the experience of driving in electric cars," continued Dian.

Like other Air ev models, the Lite variant also has a compact design with a seating capacity of four, which still prioritizes comfort and agility.

With its compact size, Air ev Lite allows easy maneuvers and convenience in driving. The mobility of this vehicle is more practical thanks to its agile ability, including the ease of users when parking.

The lowest type of car uses a lithium ferro-phosphate battery with a capacity of 18 kWh which is capable of delivering this vehicle up to a distance of 200 km in one charge.

To increase charging efficiency, Air EV Lite is equipped with an easy home charging feature that allows charging in various places, even at home with a minimum electric power of 2,200 watts. The Air EV Lite battery also has an IP67 standard that has been tested in extreme conditions.
