GLC 300 4 Matic, Luxury Of The New Mercedes-Benz SUV Which Is Also Built Locally In Malaysia

JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz officially introduced their newest luxury SUV, GLC 300 4 Matic, to the Malaysian market after its release in Indonesia last June. Interestingly, this latest GLC is assembled locally in Pekan, Malaysia.

Although assembled locally by Mercedes-Benz, this car is claimed to still have the same quality as imported versions. According to a report from Paultan, Thursday, September 14, this GLC 300 emits an aura of luxury that is balanced with the impression of sporty, giving this car a unique position in its segment. GLC 300 is also equipped with a Digital Light light with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus.

In the leg-leg sector, the GLC 300 is equipped with 20-inch AMG multi-spoke rims from the alloy. AMG's touch is also felt in other elements, such as sporty-looking air-intake, chrom-coated trim elements, and panoramic sliding sunsets.

Like other Mercedes models, the GLC 300 features a luxurious and comfortable interior with a 12.3-inch cluster screen and a 11.9-inch central screen. Both screens support connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Mercedes-Benz has presented a variety of features that increase comfort for both passengers and drivers, including the 3D Burmester audio system, the AMG Line package which includes a sport steering wheel wrapped in Nappa skin, and an overall interior covered by Artico synthetic skin.

To improve user security, Mercedes GLC 300 is equipped with various driver assistance features, such as Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, 360-degree camera, Tyre Pressure Monitor, and anti-tall alarm.

The latest GLC 300 is equipped with a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline combined with a 48V mid-hybrid system. This machine is capable of generating 254 dk of power and torques reaching 400 Nm, with an all-wheel drive system and 9G-Tronic nine automatic transmission.

Being assembled locally, the price of Mercedes-Benz GLC in Malaysia is more affordable, which is around 378,888 ringgit or around Rp1.2 billion in rupiah exchange rates.

This is not the first time the GLC model has been assembled locally in Southeast Asia. Previously in Indonesia, the Indonesian Mercedes-Benz Distribution (MBDI), confirmed that the SUV was assembled locally at the Wanaherang factory, Bogor.

Regarding prices, the Mercedes GLC sold in Indonesia has a higher price tag of IDR 1.4 billion Off The Road. To note, the GLC is one of the best-selling models in Mercedes-Benz cars around the world.
