Hyundai is preparing an update to one of its compact SUVs, namely Creta, which is scheduled to launch next year. This vehicle was caught again on surveillance cameras during testing so that it was revealed that it had undergone several significant changes.
According to a report from Gaadi Waadi, Sunday, September 10, changes were seen on the back of the vehicle. The back look was updated with a stunning H-letter LED light, a simpler back bumper, a black pillar B display, and a back door that was changed to a number plate hole and a fake slip plate.
While the front also underwent changes with a separate light flash design and a fresh twisted LED DRL LED, as well as a new rail and updated alloy rims.
While there is no detailed information yet on the engines and power to be generated, it is likely that Creta facelift will adopt the latest engine after Hyundai suspended the use of a 1.4 liter turbo gasoline machine in April, in line with current emission regulations.

It is estimated that the latest Hyundai Creta will use the same machine as the latest generation Verna model, which is equipped with a 1.5 liter TGDi engine capable of generating up to 158 dk of power and a maximum torque of 253 Nm.
In addition, Hyundai seems to be giving consumers more engine options. The expected machine variations include 1.5 liters of NA gasoline and 1.5 liters of turbo diesel.
Hyundai Creta is one of Asia's popular SUVs, especially in India and Indonesia. Hyundai has confirmed that an updated version will be coming to India by 2024 and will have a significantly different design from the international model introduced at the end of 2021.
In addition to design updates, Hyundai is also focused on improving features. The vehicle will be equipped with a 360-degree parking camera and ADAS level 2 system. The system includes various security features such as Forward Collision-avoidance Assist (FCA), Lane Following Assist (LFA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA), and Rear Cross-traffic Collision-avoidance Assist (RCCA).
In Indonesia, Hyundai Creta competes closely with Honda HR-V, Toyota Yaris Cross, Mazda CX-5, and Mitsubishi XForce. This car is available in six different variants, with prices ranging from Rp291.3 million to Rp408.3 million.
