JAKARTA - Porsche, a car manufacturer from Germany, has introduced a facelift version of the 2024 Cayenne SUV to the Malaysian market. Interestingly, this Cayenne is produced locally in Malaysia.

According to a report from Paultan, Friday, September 8, the 2024 facelift Porsche Cayenne will be produced at the Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia plant, with the same standard specifications and features as this SUV being offered elsewhere.

Compared to previous variants, the Cayenne exterior looks is becoming more expressive thanks to the addition of the latest engine hood and HD Matrix headlights which give a wider impression of the car. The back also undergoes a design change that gives a touch of sporty. Customers can choose a 20, 21, or 22-inch rim according to their preferences.

In the cabin, Cayenne has integrated the Porsche Driver Experience which was previously introduced to Taycan. This allows drivers to more easily access various vehicle features. In addition, this car is also equipped with a wireless charging system to make it easier for users to charge their devices.

Revisions have also been made on the transmission selector transferred to the dashboard to provide more storage space on the center console as well as easier to access air conditioning settings. Drivers view instruments through a 12.6-inch curved digital screen that stands free, while the infotainment system is operated through a 12.3-inch PCM mid-screen.

The cabin is also equipped with a comfortable seat and can be arranged in 14 directions with a memory package. In addition, the front seat head back is now equipped with a Porsche logo as standard, and the electric sun curtain can be rolled in the back window.

For convenience during the trip, the Porsche Cayenne facelift is equipped with the highest quality Bose Surround Sound audio system.

The New Cayenne is even more impressive thanks to a 3.0 liter V6 turbocharged engine capable of generating up to 353 dk of power and a 500 Nm of torque. This machine is combined with a four-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Porsche Cayenne 2024 facelift, which is produced locally in Malaysia, can be ordered at a price of 599,999 Malaysian ringgit, equivalent to around Rp1.9 billion, including a two-year warranty.
