JAKARTA - Wuling Motor presents one of its flagship hatchbacks sold for the Chinese market, Wuling Binggo at the Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2023 exhibition.

The electric-powered car is displayed in Wuling's main booth. But for now, Wuling has no intention of marketing the product in Indonesia.

"We currently want to focus on Air ev first. Wuling Binggo has not been sold in Indonesia," said Wuling Motors Brand & Marketing Director, Dian Asmaharani during an interview with reporters at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

However, Dian said that his party would launch several new models in the future for the Indonesian market. Apart from EVs, Wuling will also introduce the ICE model.

"If we talk about Wuling in terms of future plans, Wuling will definitely plan for the long term to launch the latest products from ICE or EV," concluded Dian.

Dian also added that his party is currently focusing on selling the Air ev model. Although, it is possible that Wuling will release several new models in the future.

"For the launch date and segment, we must study it first. For now, we are focusing on Air ev first," explained Dian.

In addition to presenting Binggo, Wuling Motors also brought several units into their booths for the 2023 PEVS. Some of them are four Wuling Air ev, namely one police car, one fire unit, one unit for the G20 Summit, and one unit for the 2023 ASEAN Summit. Not to forget, two complete Air ev variant units attended to decorate the booth.
