JAKARTA - British classic car manufacturer AC Cars has re-born the legendary roadster Cobra with several modernized updates.

Under the name AC Cobra GT Roadster, the car uses a strong aluminum space frame chassis. The body panel is made of carbon that keeps the weight of the car lighter with an array of 1,450 kg, as reported by Motor1, Saturday, May 13.

Although the display looks the same as the legendary model of the Cobra Cobra, the AC Cobra GT Roadster has a longer dimension with a wheelbase of 2,570 mm.

Speaking of engines, AC Cars offers two engine options to Cobra GT Roadster. The first is Ford Coyote 5.0 liter V8 naturally-assisted (NA) which can generate 454 dk and 570 Nm of torque.

As for the second engine option, the supercharged version can produce more powerful power of 654 dk and a maximum torque of 780 Nm which makes this roadster have a fast acceleration of 0-100 km/hour of approximately 3.4 seconds.

In addition, buyers can choose the manual six acceleration manual transmission option or an automatic ten acceleration. Consumers can also choose the right or left steering layout.

Because it has an old design and has several updates in terms of components and performance, AC Cars only provides a Cobra GT Roadster with a limited number of 250 units per year.

Buyers also have to spend more so that they can bring this roadster to their respective garages at a price of 285,000 pounds or around Rp. 5.26 billion.
