JAKARTA - Musician Oddie Agam passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 due to his illness. It is understood he has been hospitalized since the beginning of the month in critical condition.

Oddie Agam is a well-known musician who started his career in 1984. Apart from being a singer, he is also known as a composer and songwriter.

Born on March 19, 1953, the man whose real name is Imran Majid released his first album, Bellina in 1984. Then he also won the 1987/1988 Youth Song Creation Contest with the song Cahaya Dalam Kehidupan.

Throughout his career, Oddie Agam has released four albums, namely Bellina (1984), Gadis Sentimentil (1986), Oddie Agam (1990), and 50:50 (2012). He also composed songs for Wahyu Sihombing's film Istana Kecantikan.

Some of his songs have become hits of all time, including songs for Vina Panduwinata such as Surat Cinta, Bahasa Cinta, Logika, and Tamu Istimewa.

He is also the person who composed the song Antara Anyer dan Jakarta which was popularized by Sheila Majid.

From his personal life, Oddie Agam was married twice. First with the famous actress Chintami Atmanegara in 1988 and divorced in 1992.

Then Oddie Agam proposed to Almafilia who accompanied him until the end of his life today. Oddie Agam died at the age of 68.
