Morgan Oey, Putri Ayudya, And Nadya Arina Will Announce Featured Journalists Film Festival XI

JAKARTA - The Xi 2021 Indonesian Journalist Film Festival (FFWI) is almost at its peak. The list of featured films from 3 genres namely comedy, horror, and drama is ready to be announced on October 18, 2021.

The process of selecting and selecting the best films began to be worked out by a jury team consisting of representatives of journalists from all over Indonesia. There are at least 35 films that were selected by the jury who judged to get superior.

"The superior selection process is democratic. The members of the jury are all actively involved with discussions to determine the seeds of each category. Each category has 9 seeds, so the total number of seeds that the jury chooses is 27," said Shandy Gasela, Chair of the Dwwan Jury of FFWI XI year 2021.

After being submitted to the committee, the FFWI XI featured list was submitted to the committee and ready to be announced. A number of supports continue to flow from Indonesian filmmakers. Talented young actor Morgen Oey among them.

"I am very happy to welcome the Indonesian Journalist Film Festival," said Morgan Oey. Morgan will read the highlights of the comedy genre.

Meanwhile, Putri Ayudya was enthusiastic about reading the drama category. When asked to read the nominations, Putri immediately agreed.

"I hope there is my name in every featured that I read later. Journalists are an inseparable part of Indonesian cinema," said Putri.

The Chairperson of FFWI XI, Wina Armada said that the FFWI XI flagship reading event will be carried out in a hybrid manner by combining offline events and online audiences. "We will hold an online event at CGV Cinemas, FX Sudirman while still implementing health protocols. Viewers can watch through FFWI's social media directly," he explained.
