Sad News From The Metal World: Eben 'Burgerkill' Passes Away

JAKARTA - Sad news came from the realm of Indonesian loud music, Eben 'Burgerkill' passed away.

The news of the death of the leader of one of the most powerful metal bands in Indonesia came from various WhatsApp groups inhabited by metal musicians.

"Kids, Mr. Eben fainted when he was playing a gig, now I'm at the youngest hospital with the chairman, please pray for him," wrote Gebeg, a drummer from the Bandung metal scene, in Sundanese.

"Please forgive me, children, this Mr. Eben has died, this is at the youngest hospital," continued Gebeg in the next message.

VOI then tried to contact one of Eben's friends in the Bandung area, Hinhin, the guitarist for the band Nectura.

"That's right (died). Had a heart attack," Hinhin told VOI by telephone.
