Despite Getting High Rating, Netizens Call 'Hospital Playlist 2' Boring, This Is The Reason

JAKARTA - The Korean drama Hospital Playlist 2 received criticism from various audiences. Despite the high rating obtained, many feel bored with the storytelling of this drama starring Jo Jung Suk.

Cited from Allkpop today, August 12, the episode that aired on August 5 still featured the stories of doctors working at Yulje Hospital.

Unfortunately, comments from Allkpop viewers felt that Hospital Playlist 2's story was boring and seemed forced.

“Writers need to do something about their storytelling… This season has been so boring”, said one anonymous.

"I don't have a favorite character or partner, I just watched for the story, and I'm disappointed they played out too much of the romance aspect".

"For some reason, the second season looks ridiculous and it seems like they are forcing the audience to focus on a certain 'lesson' or 'message'".

“Personally, I am aware that this is a Shin Won Ho production. When the characters are not yet dating, the story is fun and exciting. But when they start dating, it's boring".

When searching for Hospital Playlist on social media, some netizens also felt the same way about this second part of the story.

Despite the series of complaints, Hospital Playlist 2 still gets the highest rating. Last week, Nielsen Korea reported that they got 10.6 percent which was rated the same as the airing of the first episode on June 17. Hospital Playlist 2 airs every Thursday at 9 PM on tvN and Netflix.
