Rachel Zegler Plays Snow White In Disney's Live Action Adaptation

JAKARTA - Actress Rachel Zegler is rumored to be playing the main role as Snow White in the Disney live-action film adaptation. Cited from Deadline today, June 23, Zegler was chosen as Snow White because her vocal abilities are very impressive.

“Rachel's incredible vocal abilities are just the beginning of her talent. Strength, intelligence, and optimism will be part of the discovery of this Disney classic", said director Marc Webb.

The film Snow White was also produced by Marc Platt and the music was done by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The Production will start in 2022.

Through her Instagram account, Zegler posted the news and wrote, "Hello to dreams come true".

The story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was created by the Grimm Brothers and released in 1938. This cartoon became an iconic Disney story and the live-action was much awaited by the audience.

Rachel Zegler as a young star is shining with various acting projects that she is doing. One of them was the musical West Side Story in which she played Maria.

For the role of Maria, she managed to beat 30 thousand audition participants. The film, directed by Steven Spielberg, will be released in December.
