JAKARTA - The series "Sleeping With the Enemy" pairs Cinta Laura and Randy Martin as a couple. The two have known each other for a long time, but this is the first time the two have been paired.

Not only for the first time, but they will have intimate scenes in the series. As a result, the two of them try to be professional in displaying their chemistry for this series.

"I'm Randy Martin, here playing Adrian. For me personally, I'm super excited why? Because this is the first project with WeTV, the second project with Hitmaker, and the third project with Mr. Rizal Mantovani. There are many new things in this project and met with an ensemble cast that I think is very decorative, diverse, and very professional," said Randy Martin in a press conference in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, July 15.

"Sleeping With the Enemy" is an adult romance genre that tells the story of a woman who takes revenge after being manipulated and imprisoned for 20 years. The 27-year-old actor revealed that this was the first time he had taken on a serial genre like this.

"For a genre like this, the first for me, there are so many layers, not only in the story but each character is so it's a task to conceal it on the screen and become a new show. I've known Cinta for a long time but I've never worked together. Yesterday there was a funny moment during the camera test, we were bonding all the time, and during the camera test there was a moment of nervousness," explained Randy Martin.

"I remember very well, we had a test yesterday, there was a moment where we had to look believable in the eyes of the audience. And Randy was nervous and kept saying 'Cinta, I'm nervous for a minute'. But it's not easy, we have to really feel safe with our co-stars to be able to say 'Eh you don't have to be afraid if you want to hold hands or want to hold your shoulders'. He's such a good guy, so it's impossible to be weird," Cinta Laura added.

Randy Martin admitted that he was nervous because he cared about the character and this project so he hoped that the comfort in the scene could be passed well.

"Love is also very open, very supportive, collaborative and communicative. So, what is it, it feels like a very mature work and it makes me personally comfortable and it seems to be exciting in the future," said Randy Martin.

"Maybe it's more mature in some things, a lot of things in this series. Maybe for me it's also the first time. But this is a new challenge. And like Cinta said, everything is coordinated, which makes this work environment also safe and makes us all very professional," he said again.
