Plan to Go on Hajj, Ruben Onsu Learns the Qur'an and Memorizes a Short Letter

JAKARTA - Famous presenter Ruben Onsu gave a surprising news about his haj plan. Not this year, Ruben admitted that he would only leave for the holy land next year because he wanted to mature his spiritual preparation.

"God willing, the plan for Hajj is still next year, yes. So, not this year, just because this year we have to prepare first. And the desire is that it doesn't want to be like a cart-cart," said Ruben Onsu in the Bekasi area, not long ago.

Ruben explained that the journey to Mecca is not just a physical journey, but requires deep heart readiness. Therefore, he admitted that he was intensively deepening religious knowledge so that it would be more solid when the departure day arrived.

"The preparation is still long, I am still learning short letters, learning the Qur'an, learning to read the Qur'an like that. So, it's still long," he continued.

Great hopes are hung on Ruben's current learning process. He wants the worship he carries out later to bear fruit in istiqamah and tranquility in his life in the future.

"Yes, hopefully when the Hajj process is over, yes, I will be more confident, more steadfast, and more memorizing the letters, so much more, that's it," said Sarwendah's ex-husband.

Apart from the hajj plan, Ruben was also asked about the umrah. He confirmed that he would leave for umrah in the near future with his friend, Ivan Gunawan, as part of his learning process.

"Alhamdulillah every umrah is a lesson for me, so Islam is better there. But if you look at it from everyone, you must pray, ask Allah, it must be different," he explained.

Ruben considered the umrah as a first step before he stepped into the haj level. He admitted that he wanted to focus without any distractions that could break his concentration in worship.

"This is really we dare to go on umrah together, focus, yes, there is no difference of opinion. So, focus on the worship," said Ruben.

Finally, Ruben can only surrender regarding the smoothness of his spiritual plan. "Hopefully the haj process will go smoothly. Later we'll see, God willing, deh. We don't know, yeah," he concluded.
