Beni Siregar and Nita Gunawan Reveal Their Roles in the Film "A Portion of Chicken Noodle Before Dying"

JAKARTA - The novel book "Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati" will soon be adapted into a feature film. Several actors, ranging from Benidictus Siregar, Nita Gunawan, Kevin Millenio to Fira Maringka, shared their involvement in the film.

The film's production process has been underway since 2025, not long after the novel was first released to the public. Directed by Kuntz Agus, this film has completed the production process. The actors admitted that they had a different experience when joining this film.

"Maybe it will be more enjoyable to watch because the film is not exactly the same because there are adjustments to make it more exciting, there are surprises that hopefully can reach the audience," said Benidictus Siregar at the 100th print thanksgiving event "A Portion of Chicken Noodle Before Dying" in South Jakarta on Saturday, May 23.

Nita Gunawan added, "I've read the novel. This is really happening. Suddenly the manager gave me the news that the movie "Seporsi Mie Ayam" was coming. I want and I can't be late. Because I've read it and I think the story happens in the real world so I want to be one of them in the film. "

Unlike Nita Gunawan, Kevin Millenio and Fira Maringka who are content creators, they actually dared to participate in the casting of this film.

"Actually I've known this book for a long time and I think at that time this book was very viral, a best seller. Then there was information about co-production, we picked up the ball. We were interested in this project so we asked if we could join, we finally cast," said Kevin Millenio.

"The book is viral and honestly I haven't read it until we cast. I heard from other friends to read it," said Fira Maringka.

As one of the actors, Benidictus Siregar explained that this film is expected to be enjoyed by the audience later in the cinema.

"Trying to make a film so that it doesn't trigger the audience, even some of these we don't just take in some parts. Trying to make this film useful and for everyone to watch," said Benidictus Siregar.

Brian Krishna as the author of the original novel tells, in the 100th printing version there are parts that are added to the story and a different cover. Various handprints were also officially released for fans of this book.

"In the extra chapter there is a scene of eating chicken noodles with someone who is most influential in Ale's healing in this book," said Brian Krishna.
