JAKARTA - The BELIFT LAB agency, which oversees ILLIT, warned the public after their artist experienced an unpleasant incident. This incident took place when they were about to return to South Korea.

"As a measure to get information about the personal information of ILLIT members and threaten the comfort of those who are excessive, we want to release our position on this issue," BELIFT LAB said on Friday, January 9.

"After ILLIT completed overseas activities, the privacy of members who had personal activities was disturbed before they returned to Korea. There were several signs that their information was leaked, we changed the departure date to protect our artists," the agency explained.

Despite the efforts, the identities and tickets of the ILLIT members were obtained by several individuals until they chased the members to a different airport.

"They not only tried to approach the artist and tried to talk but also criticized the members who wore masks and asked for photos without the members' permission," the agency said.

"We see this as a serious issue, especially the information that the ticket change is a personal matter and only known to the artist himself and some staff but leaked in real time," the agency said.

Because this threatens the security of ILLIT members, the agency is trying to collect evidence and ask for cooperation from the airline so that their identities are not leaked.

"We will collect evidence of harassment of our artists and we will report them without zero tolerance without agreement," he said.

Previously, BELIFT LAB issued a public warning in 2025 due to alleged defamation carried out on social media.
