JAKARTA - The public is shocked by the alleged fraud wedding organizer (WO) involving Ayu Puspita. The police officially named Ayu as a suspect, along with four other people.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Budi Hermanto, said that Ayu and another suspect with the initials D had been detained at the North Jakarta Metro Police, while the other three suspects are now being handled by the Polda Metro Jaya.

This case stems from reports from victims who suffered losses of up to hundreds of millions of rupiah. According to the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar, his party has received 87 reports related to the alleged fraud.

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, about 200 victims raided Ayu's residence in East Jakarta, making the situation heat up before the authorities mediated.
