Transformers Animation In Production Process

JAKARTA - An animated prequel to Transformers is in the process of being developed. Paramount Pictures immediately took Josh Cooley to work on this film. Cooley's role in animation is familiar to his participation in the films Cars, Ratatouille, Up, Inside Out, and the Oscar-winning Toy Story 4.

Quoted from Variety, Thursday, April 30, the process of developing the Transformers animation script has begun with Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, who previously wrote the Ant Man and the Wasp script.

The Transformers film, which has become a box office, is indeed an interesting remake. Combined with this project, Transformers has eight films. Five productions, directed by Michael Bay, achieved considerable sales, reaching 4 billion United States dollars (US) worldwide.

Paramount wants to experience this success again by creating a franchise called Bumblebee with Travis Knight in 2018. Bumblebee has earned US $ 468 million worldwide. Critics also feel how the excitement that exists between the robots can be packaged properly even though the director changes. This response also triggered Paramount to build another version of Transformers.

Now, that expectation is being rebuilt. Reportedly, this film will tell the story of Transformers on Cybertron and will have no relationship with the live action version or the Bumblebee spinoff. This Transformers animation emphasizes the autobot's relationship with other robot cars.

Meanwhile, the voice actors in the Transformers animation have yet to be announced. The final script for this film is also still going through the editing process. Just entering the initial stage of production but fans are already preparing to welcome the return of Transformers in the big screen version.
