JAKARTA - In celebration of the 50-year journey, a new exhibition room, Summarecon Discovery, opened at La Piazza, Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading. This exhibition features a milestone in the history, value, and philosophy of company development in building nine integrated city areas.

Opened to the public starting November 28, 2025, this gallery comes as a place to study and explore how the founder of Soetjipto Nagaria and his team built a 'Safe, Comfortable, and Complete' city.

"We present Summarecon Discovery as a space for the public to trace Summarecon's journey, from the first steps in Kelapa Gading to develop into the developers of nine Integrated Cities," said President Director Adrianto P. Adhi when met in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

"More than just historical documentation, this exhibition displays a long process of building a city based on commitment, integrity, and sustainable innovation. We hope this space can enrich people's insight into how an area is planned, developed, and maintained sustainability," he added.

Furthermore, Adrianto explained visually, this exhibition displays archival images, digital installations, building makets, historical documentation, large-scale murals, travel videos, to character visualizations that describe the dynamics of city life and its creation background.

12 Summarecon Discovery Zones

1. Foyer City Icon

The opening zone is in the form of a mural featuring iconic buildings, ranging from shopping centers, residences, schools, health facilities, to community spaces.

2. Discovery of Life

Audiovisual is almost 6 minutes long, which tells the company's journey and contribution for 50 years to society.

3. Timeline 50 Years of Our Journey & 9 Symbols

The series of trips since 1975, starting from the first step in developing 10 hectares of land in Kelapa Gading. The installation of 9 Symbols' illustrates the vision of an integrated city and its constituents.

4. Our Breakthrough

Innovative zones in five categories:

- Commercial: integrability of shop houses and residences, construction of the first shopping centers and outlets in Indonesia.

- Hunian: the concept of Clubhouse and Condovilla as sustainable residential innovation.

- Sports & Health: sports club trips to modern health facilities.

- Construction: construction quality standards applied from the start.

- Region: environmental technology innovation, water management, and city management.

5. Our Founder

Personal zones that display the values of life, family, and the contribution of founders in education.

6. Lights of Life

Featuring social contributions such as environmental programs, education, CSR, and the construction of public facilities.

7.CARING

Art gallery stylized spaces with interactive installations that reflect the company's values and culture.

8. Time of Endurance

The company's resilience story goes through three difficult times: the 1998 Monetary Crisis, the 2007 Flood, and the Covid-19 pandemic.

9. A City of Million Culinary

Miniatures and culinary artifacts featuring Kelapa Gading as a city of a million culinary delights, complete with videos of cross-generational culinary figures.

10. Tales of The People

Videos that record the daily lives of residents and employees.

11. Badminton Future

Future projections, including the development of integrated transportation, public facilities, sustainable housing, and the concept of community welfare.

Areas that provide merchandise related to exhibitions.

All installations are designed to provide educational, exploratory, and fun experiences. The exhibition venue opens every Tuesday "Sunday at 11.30 p.m. local time free of charge. Visitors can sign up through the official website and ask the guide to accompany the tour.
