Hamish Daud Kembali Mangkir, Sidang Cerai Kedua Dengan Raisa Kembali Terunda

JAKARTA - The divorce process between singer Raisa Andriana and actor Hamish Daud has again been postponed.

At the second trial held today, both Raisa and Hamish were not present at the Religious Court. Hamish's absence as defendant was the second time in a row.

Raisa's attorney, Putra Lubis, confirmed that his client was unable to attend because there were other activities, while Hamish did not provide any information regarding his absence.

"Today, eh, the second trial, we as the plaintiff's attorney are present," said Putra Lubis at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Monday, November 17.

"The agenda was still in the context of calling the parties... the defendant was not present," he continued.

As a result, the mediation process which is expected to start is delayed. If Hamish continues to be absent, the court has the potential to impose a verdict on a verstek basis.

"If the defendant is not present, it means that until the next trial he will not attend ... it means that the verdict is a verstek," he explained.

The next trial will again schedule the summons of the parties.
