David Beckham Officially Becomes Sir, Use Victoria Beckham's First Draft Settings

JAKARTA - David Beckham showed a sweet respect to his wife, Victoria Beckham at the awarding ceremony for the title of knight which took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Windsor Castle.

At the age of 50, the former Manchester United football star officially received an honorary title from King Charles for his contribution to sports and charity activities.

Interestingly, David chose to wear a three-piece charcoal gray suit which is the first menswear design of Victoria Beckham's fashion label. The settings are made from British mohair wool materials with neat pieces and elegant rune details.

Meanwhile, Victoria looks elegant in a long navy dress from her own collection of labels with asymmetric pharmacies which are the hallmarks of her design. With this award, David now officially holds Sir David Beckham, while the 51-year-old woman gets the title Lady Beckham. In this special moment, David was also accompanied by his parents, Ted Beckham and Sandra West.

Actually, this title has been proposed since more than ten years ago, in 2011 to be precise, after David previously received the OBE title in 2003. In June this year, news that he would receive the title of knight was finally confirmed.

"You've always been a shining knight for me, but now it's official. Sir David Beckham! I'm very proud," Victoria wrote with pride through uploads on social media, quoted from the People page.

In his interview with The Guardian, David admitted that he had time to talk with King Charles about clothing. He admitted that the king was a figure who always looked elegant and had been an inspiration for his style.

David also explained that the design idea for the suit was made based on old photos of King Charles wearing a morningsuit when he was young, then he asked Victoria to make it happen.

Behind this sweet story, Victoria recently also shared a difficult time in her business through her latest documentary series on Netflix.

He admitted that he had been in a situation that almost lost his entire business and felt very depressed. David also recalled that time was a tough time because

Victoria is a proud and independent figure, even she is a more financially established party as they begin to build a life together.

But after going through various challenges, Victoria has finally found a business partner who helps save its label and continues to grow to this day.
