JAKARTA - Jun Ji Hyun officially rejected the offer of his latest drama, Koreans. Initially, this drama was projected to be a reunion with actor Lee Byung Hun.

Tuesday, November 4, PEACHY Company's agency representing Jun Ji Hyun said, "Koreans are one of the projects he is considering and we chose not to continue."

Koreans are dramas remake of the American series The Americans. The plan, this drama will be directed by Ahn Gil Ho who previously worked on The Glory.

This series tells the story of War in the 80s' era but for the Korean version, this drama will take place in the era of dictators in the Korean era.

Apart from Jun Ji Hyun, the male lead is offered to Lee Byung Hun. Until now, Lee Byung Hun is still considering the offer.

Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Byung Hun previously worked together in the film Happy Together in 1999. This film became one of the Korean classics and made their names more accountable in the entertainment industry.
