JAKARTA - Warner Bros. production house. Animation made a surprise for the audience by announcing the date of Hello Kitty's film. After years of designing it, this film will finally meet its audience in 2028.

"Hello Hollywood. #HelloKittyMovie will come to the cinema on July 21, 2028," reads the caption written in a post from the production house.

Citing Variety, this film will mark Hello Kitty's story on a cinematic journey that reaches a wider audience.

This film marks Hollywood's debut as Hello Kitty and her friends are traveling to entertain, said Warner Bros. production house.

Director Leo Matsuda directed the film while Dana Fox did the script after working on the Wicked script. Previously, Matsuda worked on a story for Zootopia and Wreck-It Ralph.

Hello Kitty is an animation from Sanrio released in 1974. This character became popular with his friends including Dear Daniel and Ichigoman.

This animation develops in various business lines including cafes, playgrounds, video games, to collaborations with other household clothes and products.

This is the first time Hello Kitty has on the big screen. The production house has yet to announce who will fill the voice of this film.
