Reza Gladys's Party Is Satisfied That Nikita Mirzani Was Sentenced To 4 Years: Evidence Of Our Good Name

JAKARTA - dr. Reza Gladys warmly welcomed the decision of the panel of judges who sentenced Nikita Mirzani to four years in prison.

They considered that the decision was not only the end of the long legal process, but also proof that Reza Gladys's reputation and reputation for beauty products had been restored.

Reza Gladys's attorney, Surya Batubara, stated that the panel of judges firmly found Nikita guilty of extortion through the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE).

"What is clear is that until now, Reza is happy because the judge found Nikita Mirzani guilty of extortion through ITE, that's all," said Surya Batubara at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, October 28.

Furthermore, Surya emphasized that this verdict at the same time denied all of Nikita's accusations against her client's skincare products. Until the end of the trial, there was not a single piece of evidence stating that the product was problematic.

"Produk dr. Reza has so far not been found guilty," he said.

Responding to those who are still trying to doubt the quality of the product, Surya responded casually. He even challenged anyone who has evidence to report to the official institution.

"So even if someone is fishing there, we just laugh. Prove that there is a guilty product. Report it to the police or to BPOM," he said.

This case stems from Nikita Mirzani's upload on social media accusing Reza Gladys's products of overclaim and overprice. The feud then led to a legal report on charges of extortion.

Regarding the judge's decision which was lighter than the prosecutor's demands "four years from eleven years in prison", Reza Gladys chose to respect the judge's decision.

"The problem is four years or more, that's the matter of the panel of judges. We leave it to the panel of judges," said Surya.

At the end of his statement, Surya Batubara indicated that this case would not necessarily end. He said there was a possibility that other parties would be investigated in the near future.

"In the future we will investigate again, there are people involved," he concluded.
