JAKARTA - Taeil ex- NCT's appeal regarding his prison sentence was not received. Taeil and two of his friends were detained on charges of sexual assault against a drunken woman again and sentenced to prison through an appeal.
On October 17, the Seoul High Court's 11-3 Criminal Division sentenced Taeil to three years and six months in prison, who was charged with rape. Under the Special Cases Law on the Sentence of Sexual Crimes recorded the same sentence at the first trial.
Two of Taeil's friends, Lee and Hong were each sentenced to three years and six months in prison.
The court also upheld the previous decision which stated that the three were obliged to fulfill 40 hours of the program to treat perpetrators of sexual crimes and impose five years of work restrictions in institutions related to children, adolescents, and people with disabilities.
