Feeling Trapped On Reza Gladys's Report, Nikita Mirzani Demands To Be Released

JAKARTA - Nikita Mirzani reiterated that she felt trapped by Reza Gladys in a case of alleged extortion and money laundering (TPPU). Even though he never did this, even calling Reza the real criminal.

"Kejam Your Majesty, this trapping scenario has been perfectly planned by Reza Gladys who claims to be a victim. In fact, she is the real perpetrator of the crime," said Nikita Mirzani at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, October 16.

Feeling trapped by this case, Nikita admitted that her three children had to be separated for up to eight months by force and heinous. During his detention, Nikita had to receive a bitter pill that could not accompany her youngest child who was in and out of the hospital 3 times.

"For about eight months I have been in prison, I have been forcibly separated in a way that is wrong with my children, from my family, and friends, my friends in heinous ways," continued Nikita Mirzani.

"My son has been hospitalized three times but thank God I was allowed by the Judge yesterday, but I couldn't do anything, I wasn't near my child to accompany him," said Nikita.

He also emphasized that he had been treated unfairly during this legal process, starting from the examination stage to during the trial process. He accused someone who deliberately wanted to imprison him.

"I was treated unfairly in this legal process starting from the level of investigation in the police to the prosecutor's level. Because I suspect that all of this has been designed in such a way by those who want to imprison me," he continued.

"And I even suspect that there are allegations of corruption in the form of bribery or gratification as I have reported to the Corruption Eradication Commission. There is no longer my hope for other law enforcement officers besides hoping for Mr. Judge Your Honor as the representative of God on this earth," continued Nikita.

At the end of his own memorandum of defense, Nikita demanded freedom of all demands by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) for this case because he felt he had never taken the actions he was accused of.

"For this reason, at the end of this memorandum of defense (pleidoi), I would like to tell Mr. Judge Your Honor, I am not a criminal, especially the perpetrators of money laundering crimes. For that I beg Mr. Judge Your Honor to immediately release me because I have never committed a criminal act as alleged by the public prosecutor," he concluded.
