This two-minute trailer features four students, namely Poltak (Maell Lee), Bowo (Dodit Mulyanto), Dede (Daffa Ariq), and Asikin (Yewen). As students majoring in films, they are assigned to complete short films as their final task.

In the process of making the film, Poltak invited Tiara (Carissa Perusset) and Mumun (Sara Fajira), their campus colleagues to join. The production process did not go smoothly. Various funny and horror events began to appear during filming.

The peak of tension occurred when Mumun, had an accident. This incident hampered production. Various terrors began to approach them as they were finishing their duties.

Mistis' atmosphere is increasingly felt by the presence of Sara Wijayanto, an artist who is synonymous with horror films. His presence is believed to be able to strengthen the horror atmosphere as well as provide authentic quality in the story.

In addition to horror, the film Maju Serem Mundur Horror presents a comedy side by cooperating with professional consultant comedy, namely Reza Kelik, Mo Sidik and Reno.
