Divorce Mediation Session, Andre Taulany Calls The Process A Form Of Struggle

JAKARTA - The divorce trial for the couple Andre Taulany and Rien Wartia Trigina alias Erin Taulany was again held at the South Jakarta Religious Court (PA) with a mediation agenda.

It was seen that Andre was present in court with his attorney, Galih Rakasiwi. When asked about his readiness to face the mediation process, Andre only hopes that all parties will get the best results.

"Yes, I hope you get good results for everything," said Andre Taulany at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Tuesday, October 14.

For the former Stinky vocalist, going back and forth to the court to settle his divorce case is not easy. He called the move a form of personal struggle.

"Yes, this is a struggle," said Andre Taulany.

Previously, the first trial of the divorce application submitted by Andre Taulany had to be postponed for mediation.

The reason is, his wife, Rien Wartia Trigina (RT), was not present in person and was only represented by his attorney. This caused disappointment from Andre Taulany who hoped the process could run quickly.

Andre's attorney, Galih Rakasiwi, confirmed the absence. "Alhamdulillah, the respondent is present but his attorney is present like that. For the principal itself, he is not present," said Galih Rakasiwi at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, October 8.

Galih explained the reason Erin Taulany was absent from the divorce trial was because she had just returned from abroad and had unfavorable health conditions.

"The information has just returned from abroad, for his health, he said it is not stable," continued Galih Rakasiwi.

The schedule for the divorce mediation between Andre Taulany and Erin Taulany, which was supposed to be held today at the South Jakarta Religious Court (PA), had to be postponed. The postponement was made because Erin was unable to attend due to illness.

Erin's attorney, Wahyu Purnomo, said that his party had submitted a sick certificate from the doctor to the mediator judge.

"Yes, so today's mediation is principally unable to attend. We have submitted a letter of illness," said Wahyu Purnomo at PA South Jakarta, Tuesday, October 14.

His party also requested that the mediation hearing be rescheduled. "We also conveyed earlier to ask for a reschedule like that," he continued.

Although he did not explain in detail the illness suffered by his client, Wahyu said that Erin's condition was serious enough that it needed a total rest time.

"It seems quite serious because it takes time to rest until this weekend," he said.

Furthermore, Wahyu suspects that Erin's health condition is also influenced by psychological pressure due to domestic problems being faced.

"Of course, when there are problems like this, for a woman or a mother, of course it will have an effect," he said.

According to Wahyu, his party has submitted a reschedule for next week. However, the official decision regarding the new schedule will be determined by the principal judge of the case the following day.

"Not yet, not yet," said Wahyu, dismissing the notion that mediation had failed.
