Titi Kamal Admits Being Carried Away By Emotions When Playing Mother Of Miscarriage In The Film Getih Ireng

JAKARTA Actress Titi Kamal is back on the big screen through the latest horror film by the production house Hitmaker Studios entitled Getih Ireng. The film itself is scheduled to start airing on October 13.

In the film, Titi competes acting with Darius Sinathrya as a husband and wife whose life is disturbed by black magic from someone who doesn't like their household.

Titi Kamal plays Rina, a wife who has to have a miscarriage due to witchcraft. According to Titi, the scene was very emotional because it was close to her personal experience in the real world.

"And to play that, I really tried to rebuild with Rina's characters too and yes, sometimes at that time I also involved myself in private," said Titi Kamal in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 9.

Titi revealed that she and her husband, Christian Sugiono, had had a miscarriage with their first child after three years of waiting for the baby's presence.

"At that time I had before the first child had this, what was the name, miscarriage, what was the name, it didn't work like that. Yes, it made me very sad after I waited for 3 years. So I took the sadnesss too, but I matched Rina's character. The most that's hard," he continued.

The experience of losing it, said Titi, had made her feel carried away even after the shooting process was over. He admitted that he still often cried when he recalled the moment.

"It's really baper because I remember before my first child, sad," said Titi Kamal.

Apart from Titi Kamal and Darius Sinathrya, the film Getih Ireng was also played by Sara Wijayanto, Nungki Kusumastuti, Ivonne Dahler, Egy Fedly and others.
