Umi Pipik 'Face Fight' With Arabs About Support For The Indonesian National Team

JAKARTA Umi Pipik was involved in a minor argument with a Saudi Arabian who is suspected of being a hotel employee where she is staying with her best friend, Cici Tegal.

The incident was recorded in a video uploaded to social media. In the video, Umi Pipik seems to be preparing to leave for King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, Jeddah, to watch Indonesia's match against Saudi Arabia live in the 2026 World Cup Qualification of the Asian Zone.

When voicing his support for the Indonesian national team, Umi Pipik received an unpleasant reaction from a hotel employee who raised his thumbs down as a sign of disapproval. Seeing this, Umi Pipik immediately responded with enthusiasm.

Losed Saudi Arabia, lost Saudi Arabia. Indonesia is good," said Umi Pipik quoted by VOI from the Instagram account @ummi_pipik, Thursday, October 9.

The hotel employee then answered in a friendly tone.

"Good, Indonesia is good," he said.

The conversation continued to predict the match score. One of the hotel staff said that Saudi Arabia would win with a score of 3-1 over Indonesia.

"Three one! Yes, yes, yes. Okay. Three one," said the staff.

However, Umi Pipik did not remain silent. He responded confidently that it was Indonesia who would excel in the match.

Indonesia tiga. Saudi Arabia satu, wahid. Indonesia good. Saudi Arabia zero. Wahid, Saudi Arabia Wahid," he said.

Previously, through uploads on Instagram, Umi Pipik told that she really intended to watch live and provide support for the Indonesian national team after performing Umrah with her friends.

"Bismillah, ready to support the national team to go to Jeddah stadium. Pray for me for the national team @pipitfitriya @nana_aldes @cicitegal," wrote Umi Pipik.
