JAKARTA - Indonesian guitarist, John Paul Ivan or known as JPI, launched a new work entitled Last Man Standing. This song is dedicated JPI to the late Boomerang bassist, Hubert Henry Limahelu (HH5h), who passed away on April 24.

Hubert Henry died at the age of 53 from a ruptured blood vessel in the brain's nerve. He was in a coma for 10 days and was treated at a hospital in Surabaya.

"Goodbye Henry, my friend, my brother," said JPI in its official statement. On that basis, JPI, a former Boomerang guitarist, was moved to release a single for his best friend.

This song was previously prepared by JPI for the single band RI1 in 2012 with Roy Jeconiah (former vocalist of Boomerang). However, due to no further response from the vocalist and also the band's project disbandment in 2018, JPI decided to overhaul the song with lyrics dedicated to Hubert Henry.

In this song, JPI invites Andi Babas, who is also a former Boomerang vocalist in the 2014-2020 era. In addition, in its cultivation, several musicians were also assisted, including Fajar Satritama (Edane / God Bless drummer), Lie Andi (bass) and Take Over vocalist Windy Saraswati in the vocal harmony section.

This song that is thick with rock music nuances is an encouragement for everyone who hears it and creates a sense of optimism in facing all problems.

The song Last Man Standing was released in digital format through the Boleh Music label since last May 10. The plan, the streaming and YouTube royalties of this song will be given to Henry's wife, Louretta.
