YOGYAKARTA - The celebration prayer is one of the most recommended sunnah worships for Muslims. This prayer is usually performed when a servant is in trouble or has a certain desire. In practice, the celebration prayer is a form of munajat and a servant's request to Allah SWT.

The scholars who say that prayer is a means of getting closer to Allah. By praying for the benefit, a Muslim can ask for help over the life problems he faces. Apart from being a form of prayer, prayer and celebration are also a means to strengthen the faith and beliefs of a servant.

Celebration prayers can be performed at any time according to the needs of a Muslim. There is no special time to be determined, so this prayer can be held during the day or at night. This means that celebration prayers can be performed at any time when someone needs God's help.

However, there are certain times that are believed to be more mandatory to carry out the celebration prayers. For example, in the last third night, namely the time at which a servant's prayer is very close to Allah SWT. The Prophet SAW said that Allah SWT came down to the world's skies in the last third night to answer his servant's prayer.

Even so, celebration prayers remain valid and have the value of worship when performed at other times. This is because the needs of a human being can come at any time regardless of time. Therefore, the flexibility in the celebration prayer provides convenience for Muslims who want to get closer to God.

In several history, it is stated that celebration prayers can be carried out up to 12 rakaat. This history explains that prayers that begin with 12 rakaat sunnah prayers are makbul prayers. However, celebration prayers can also be performed with only two rakaats.

In fact, if it is intended, two other sunnah prayer rakaats such as prayer tahiyyatul mosques or star prayers can also be counted as celebration prayers. This shows that Islam provides convenience for its people to worship. The most important thing is sincere intentions and sincere prayers.

In the hadith history of Ahmad and Tirmidzi, Rasulullah SAW said: 'Whoever has an important celebration, then let him do two rakaat sunnah prayers at night, and every meeting after reading Al-Fatihah read the letter Al-Kafirun three times and Al-Ikhlas three times.'

The celebration prayer has many benefits in the life of a Muslim. First, the celebration can open the door to sustenance and blessings of life. By begging Allah, a servant hopes that all the needs of the world and its hereafter will be fulfilled.

Second, the celebration prayer is a means to strengthen the relationship between a servant and Allah SWT. In every rakaat and prayer offered, a Muslim gets closer to his God. It also fosters confidence that only God can provide help.

Third, prayer and celebration provide peace of mind and mind. In conditions of trouble, prayer and celebration present a sense of peace because a servant has left his affairs to Allah SWT. In addition, this prayer is also a way for the derivation of grace, blessings, and help from Allah.

By performing the celebration prayer, a Muslim not only asks for God's help, but also strengthens faith and calms his heart. This prayer is a form of belief that all matters can only be resolved with His permission.
