JAKARTA - The trial of the vape case containing an ethodidate that dragged Jonathan Frizzy alias Ijonk's name was again held at the Tangerang District Court.

In the trial with the agenda of the lawsuit, it was decided that the Public Prosecutor (JPU) stated that Ijonk was guilty of committing, ordering and participating in producing and distributing the vape containing the ethomide.

"One, declares the Defendant Jonathan Frizzy Arcklauss Simanjuntak alias Ijong, the son of the late Herbert Simanjuntak, has been legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of committing, ordering and participating in producing or distributing pharmaceutical preparations and or medical devices that do not meet standards and or requirements. safety, efficacy, benefit, and quality," said one of the Public Prosecutors during the trial, Wednesday, September 24.

"As the first alternative indictment, the public prosecutor violated Article 435 of Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code," he continued.

Therefore, Jonathan Frizzy was charged with a one-year prison sentence minus his length in detention.

"Two, sentenced the defendant Jonathan Frizzy Arcklauss Simanjuntak alias Ijong, the son of the late Herbert Simanjuntak, to imprisonment for 1 year, a reduced length of time for the defendant to be in detention with an order that the defendant remains detained," continued the Public Prosecutor.

Responding to this, Ijonk's legal advisor said that they would file a memorandum of defense or plea at the next trial.

"Yes, from us alone, Your Majesty. Eh, we will submit a memorandum of defense, both from the legal advisor and the defendant personally. For that please take one week, Your Honor," said Jonathan Frizzy's attorney, Lamgok Heryanto Silalahi.
