Martin Scorsese Gaet Leonardo DiCaprio And Jennifer Lawrence For New Film

JAKARTA - Director Martin Scorsese is preparing his latest film by cooperating with two well-known Hollywood actors, namely Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. He is said to have adapted a horror novel entitled What Happens at Night.

Citing Deadline, the film will be produced by Apple Original Films, continuing their collaboration after the Killers of the Flower Moon in 2023.

Apple and Studiocanal have bought the novel adaptation rights by Peter Cameron in 2023. The script was written by Patrick Marber.

This novel tells the story of an American couple who goes to a snowy place in Europe to adopt a baby. The wife who is facing cancer makes her husband worry if the orphanage rejects their adoption proposal. When they arrived at that place, the couple was questioned about their relationship and themselves.

The film may mark the sixth collaboration between DiCaprio and Scorsese for two decades, but this is the first time Scorsese has teamed up with Jennifer Lawrence.

Leonardo DiCaprio will return to acting in the film One Battle After Another, while Jennifer Lawrence returns with Die My Love. Both films appeared in a number of film festivals and received massive responses.

On the other hand, this film also brings together the two actors after starring in the film Don't Look Up in 2021.

Apple itself has not revealed when the production of this film will begin at the same time as the release date.
