JAKARTA - The Bantul Regency Government, Yogyakarta Special Region, collaborates with the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (Kormi) to hold a Traditional Game Festival. This event was held as a tangible form of effort to maintain and preserve regional cultural heritage.

"In addition to being a way to preserve regional culture, the purpose of this festival is to realize love for the homeland, especially traditional culture," said Secretary of the Bantul Education, Youth and Sports Office, Titik Sunarti, in his remarks at the festival which took place in Bantul, Wednesday.

"Congratulations on competing, keep your sportsmanship, and stay confident in playing. Following this kind of competition will test your mentality, and later it will be a provision to continue to develop in the future," katanya.

The Deputy Regent of Bantul, Aris Suharyanta, also expressed his appreciation to the Regional Office of PJOK, Kormi Bantul, as well as all parties involved in organizing this activity.
