Nino Fernandez And Aisyah Aqilah Paired In The 'Married Into The Second' Series

WeTV together with EssJay Studios announced the production of their latest series, Menikahi Jadi Kedua. This series brings together Nino Fernandez and Aisyah Aqilah as the main characters.

In addition, this series is also played by Carissa Perusset, Diah Permatasari, Michelle Joan, Willem Bevers, Fendy Chow and Bertrand Antholin.

"We believe that a story that is relevant and close to social reality will be easier to accept and leave a deep impression on the audience. Through this series, WeTV wants to invite audiences to look at various perspectives, as well as provide space for discussions about life choices," said Febriamy Hutapea as Country Head of WeTV Indonesia at a press conference in South Jakarta on Thursday, September 11.

Directed by Viva Westi, the series Married So the Second will capture the life of the sandwich generation in the face of life.

Nino Fernandez will play Kenzo who has emotions and faces a moment where he has two wives. Aisyah Aqilah plays Naira, Kenzo's second wife who has an agreement with Kenzo.

I play with more tone down emotions, not much shown outside. The biggest challenge is of course because Kenzo has two wives, said Nino Fernandez.

"There is a big reason why finally Naira chose to be the second wife, and that's the burden I'm trying to explore in this role," explained Aisyah Aqilah.

Selain itu, Carissa Perruset juga berperan sebagai Angel yang merupakan istri pertama Kenzo. Krakter Angel ini punya banyak layer. Dia memang terlihat independen, tapi sebenarnya menyimpan kemenangan mental yang cukup dalam, ujar Carissa.
