Superman's Film Sequel, Man Of Tomorrow Will Air July 2027

JAKARTA - The sequel to Superman's film, Man of Tomorrow, was announced by the DC Studios production house to be broadcast in July 2027. In the sequel, James Gunn will return to direct and write.

David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult are expected to return to play Superman and Lex Total after their first film.

This announcement was shared by Gunn via social media by uploading photos of Superman and Lex totaling by Jim Lee. A few weeks earlier, Gunn also revealed that he was working on a new film although he did not mention a sequel to this film.

Superman's film earned 600 million US dollars for worldwide screening and is a good start to DC's cinematic reboot. The script was written based on characters made by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

This film is also played by Rachel Brosnahan, Maria Pierce and Skyper Gisondo. Several DC characters are also played by Anthony Carrigan as Metamorphho, Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrictific, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag, and kavia Merced as Hawkgirl.

In the history of its franchise, this is the first time Superman has received a sequel and comes from DC Studio.

Previously, DC had scheduled Supergirl to air on June 26, 2026, followed by Clayface which is scheduled for September 11, 2026.

Superman's sequel, Man of Tomorrow will hit 9 July 2027 in theaters.
