JAKARTA - Member of Commission X of the House of Representatives (DPR), Denny Wahyudi, also known as Denny Cagur, responded to an open letter from content creator and PSI Party politician Ronald Aristone Sinaga, known as Bro Ron, alleging cuts in funds from the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) by someone suspected of being part of Denny's campaign team in Bandung Regency.

Through his personal social media account, Denny firmly denied the accusations, stating that the person mentioned by Bro Ron was not part of his team.

"Thank you, @brorondm, for the information. I can confirm that the person mentioned is not my team. Regarding @brorondm's post alleging that my team had cut PIP scholarships, I can confirm that this is not true," Denny said, as quoted from his Instagram account @dennycagur on Saturday, June 26.

Denny stated that he fully supports legal action if the alleged cuts in scholarship funds are true. He also emphasized that all scholarships funded through his aspirational pathway were awarded without a single rupiah being deducted.

"Please report it for legal action. I support it 1,000 percent. I also guarantee that all scholarships from my aspiration pathway will not be reduced by even one rupiah, as I always convey to the team and when I communicate this to schools, parents, and prospective scholarship recipients," said Denny.

At the same time, he reminded Ron and any other parties who feel aggrieved to immediately file an official report so that this matter can be processed legally. Denny said he is considering filing a police report if his name is proven to have been misused for illegal purposes.

He added that this clarification was necessary because it had become a "wild ball" that was increasingly out of control in society.

"As a control function, what @brorondm is doing is good, but it would be even better if the facts were more prioritized so that it doesn't become a wild ball that harms other parties," he concluded.

In the upload, Denny also shared a video clarification from his party, including the response from Andryan Adhitya Wardhana.
